Flexible Graphite
Graphite foil mechanically bonded to 0.05–0.2 mm stainless-steel (316L) or nickel tanged insert. Insert prevents blow-out under high pressure while foil maintains sealability and chemical resistance.
Features
Blow-out resistance – withstands 150 bar at 400 °C when properly torqued
Retains flexibility – sheet can be bent 180° without delamination
Fire-safe – passes API 607 6th edition fire test for valves
Wide gasket range – spiral-wound, cam-profile or flat cut to ASME B16.21
